Award Categories
NAAI Asia Lifetime Achievement Award
Recognizes scientists who have made extraordinary, sustained contributions to AI over the course of their career. Nominations accepted by the Academic Committee only — not open for public nomination.
NAAI Asia Distinguished Scientist Award
Honors scientists who have made significant and impactful contributions to AI research, advancing the frontiers of the field.
NAAI Asia Outstanding Young Scientist Award
Recognizes exceptional young researchers aged 45 or under who are making outstanding contributions to AI research.
NAAI AI Innovation Application Award
Recognizes organizations or individuals who have successfully applied AI to create significant real-world impact.
Nomination Rules
Open globally
Nominations accepted from NAAI member institutions and distinguished scholars worldwide.
No self-nominations
All awards strictly prohibit self-nomination. A qualified third-party nominator is required.
Lifetime Achievement: committee only
The Lifetime Achievement Award is nominated exclusively by the Academic Committee and cannot be applied for.
Multi-stage review
Nominations undergo eligibility screening, expert evaluation, and final committee voting.
